“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. Nelson Mandela
We want you to feel confident that your baby is in good hands. Our nursery teachers have motherly patience and love to take care of the little ones.
Our teachers ensure that your baby will receive the best care, attention and opportunities for development. We provide you with daily communication which includes: sleeping, eating, diapering plus those baby’s unique moments throughout the day.
Language explodes at this age. We will promote learning of new words and meaning. Our teachers converse with your child, helping him to identify action and objects.
Our toddler curriculum is focused on sensory-based activities: Singing songs, story time, building blocks and more, all designed to develop language growth, brain development, fine and gross motor skills.
Independence is the main characteristic at this age. At Ms. Kristin’s Kinder Academy we recognize the importance to create the right environment to help your child to feel that he/she can accomplish tasks with minor or no teacher intervention.
Your child will start to develop an understanding of values such as generosity, compassion and honesty.
We promote how to play cooperatively with friends. Activities in the two-year-old classroom include: arts, writing his name and simple words, charting the daily weather, creative play and science.
Your child is all about exploring the world. At Ms. Kristin’s Kinder Academy we foster children’s curiosity, they will be like little detectives; using magnifying glasses, magnets and mirrors to observe how things work and why. They will practice critical thinking and social interaction, more group games, nursery rhymes and computer lessons.
In our Pre-Kindergarten classes, our teachers work very closely with each of our students to identify their academic needs and sharpen all of the skills they will need for Kindergarten. It is our goal to provide the right environment to ensure that all of our students are emotionally, physically, cognitively and behaviorally prepared for the demands of a Kindergarten classroom.
Ms. Kristin’s Kinder Academy offers Free Pre-Kindergarten for your four year old!
If you live in Florida and have a child who turned 4 years of age by September 1st, your child is eligible for Florida’s FREE Voluntary Prekindergarten Program.
